An aftermarket exhaust can trigger an "engine failure" message on the dash. Only an additional control unit clears that message. Read the instructions in the package before you install. You fit the decat pipe where the catalytic converter was.

Common Questions

Does the GPR Decat Pipe Inox replace the catalytic converter?

Yes. The decat pipe takes the place of the catalytic converter, and the kit includes no catalyst.

Will the R1300GS show an engine failure message?

That can happen. GPR notes that only an additional control unit clears the message an aftermarket exhaust may trigger.

What is the warranty?

GPR provides a 2-year international warranty.
