Is the GPR Brixton exhausts street legal?

It depends on the exact fitment. GPR splits this range into emissions groups, and we record the status on every product page. Check the product you want before you buy.

Emissions Status	What It Means for You
Meets EPA emissions limit	Legal for street use in the US on a registered bike.
Not EPA or CARB certified	Sold for closed-course competition use only.

Read this before you order. A large share of these fitments are race-use parts rather than street parts. Some also delete the catalytic converter and may need an ECU adjustment to run correctly. Send us your year, make, and model and we will tell you which group your bike falls into.

Which GPR Brixton system should you buy?

Each system type replaces a different amount of your stock exhaust.

System Type	Replaces	Best For
Slip-On	Stock silencer only	A 20 to 30 minute bolt-on that changes the look and the tone
Decat Pipe	The catalytic converter section	Riders removing the cat as a separate step

Frequently asked questions about GPR Brixton exhausts

Does GPR make an exhaust for my Brixton?

GPR builds Brixton exhaust fitments covering model years 1980 to present, across Road machines. Filter this collection by model and year to check yours. If your model is not listed, contact us before you rule it out. GPR adds fitments through the year, and we can check the Italian factory catalog directly.

Will a GPR exhaust add horsepower to my Brixton?

GPR exhausts cut weight and improve exhaust flow compared to the stock Brixton system. Gains move with the model, the system type, and whether you fit a slip-on or a full system. GPR records a maximum power gain on individual products where the factory has dyno data, so check the product page for your exact Brixton rather than borrowing a number from another model.

Can I fit GPR luggage to my Brixton as well?

On many models, yes. GPR Tech makes model-specific top cases, side cases, and skid plates built to clear GPR exhausts. Check whether your Brixton appears in those collections, or send us your year and model.

Is GPR Exhausts Direct an authorized GPR dealer?

Yes. GPR Exhausts Direct is a United States–based authorized GPR dealer. Every exhaust is genuine GPR stock from the Italian factory and carries the full 2-year manufacturer warranty, and our team files any warranty claim with the factory for you.
