Frequently asked questions about GPR MBK exhausts

Does GPR make an exhaust for my MBK?

GPR builds MBK exhaust fitments covering model years 1980 to present, across Scooter machines. Filter this collection by model and year to check yours. If your model is not listed, contact us before you rule it out. GPR adds fitments through the year, and we can check the Italian factory catalog directly.

Will a GPR exhaust add horsepower to my MBK?

GPR exhausts cut weight and improve exhaust flow compared to the stock MBK system. Gains move with the model, the system type, and whether you fit a slip-on or a full system. GPR records a maximum power gain on individual products where the factory has dyno data, so check the product page for your exact MBK rather than borrowing a number from another model.

Should I buy a slip-on or a full system for my MBK?

A slip-on replaces the stock MBK silencer only, and it fits in 20 to 30 minutes with basic tools. A full system replaces the headers and mid-pipe too, drops more weight, and changes the tone more completely. Full systems more often need a fueling adjustment. If this is your first exhaust on the bike, start with the slip-on.

Can I fit GPR luggage to my MBK as well?

On many models, yes. GPR Tech makes model-specific top cases, side cases, and skid plates built to clear GPR exhausts. Check whether your MBK appears in those collections, or send us your year and model.

Is GPR Exhausts Direct an authorized GPR dealer?

Yes. GPR Exhausts Direct is a United States–based authorized GPR dealer. Every exhaust is genuine GPR stock from the Italian factory and carries the full 2-year manufacturer warranty, and our team files any warranty claim with the factory for you.
