Is the GPR Dual Poppy street legal?

It depends on the exact fitment. GPR splits this range into emissions groups, and we record the status on every product page. Check the product you want before you buy.

Emissions Status	What It Means for You
Meets EPA emissions limit	Legal for street use in the US on a registered bike.
Not EPA or CARB certified	Sold for closed-course competition use only.

Read this before you order. A large share of these fitments are race-use parts rather than street parts. Some also delete the catalytic converter and may need an ECU adjustment to run correctly. Send us your year, make, and model and we will tell you which group your bike falls into.

Which GPR Dual Poppy system should you buy?

Each system type replaces a different amount of your stock exhaust.

System Type	Replaces	Best For
Slip-On	Stock silencer only	A 20 to 30 minute bolt-on that changes the look and the tone
Full System (Race)	Everything, catalytic converter deleted	Track and closed-course use only
Full System	Headers, mid-pipe, and silencer	The biggest weight drop and the fullest tone change

How loud is the GPR Dual Poppy?

The GPR Dual Poppy runs louder than your stock exhaust and deeper in tone. Most fitments ship with a removable db killer, so you can drop the volume for street riding and pull it out for track days. Do I need an ECU remap or a tune?

Slip-on Dual Poppy systems run on the stock ECU map on most bikes. Full systems that delete the catalytic converter often need a fueling adjustment to run right and protect the engine. GPR flags this on the affected products. Tell us your model and we will say which group yours falls into.
