Is the GPR SWM exhausts street legal?

It depends on the exact fitment. GPR splits this range into emissions groups, and we record the status on every product page. Check the product you want before you buy.

Will a GPR exhaust add horsepower to my SWM?

GPR exhausts cut weight and improve exhaust flow compared to the stock SWM system. Gains move with the model, the system type, and whether you fit a slip-on or a full system. GPR records a maximum power gain on individual products where the factory has dyno data, so check the product page for your exact SWM rather than borrowing a number from another model.

Should I buy a slip-on or a full system for my SWM?

A slip-on replaces the stock SWM silencer only, and it fits in 20 to 30 minutes with basic tools. A full system replaces the headers and mid-pipe too, drops more weight, and changes the tone more completely. Full systems more often need a fueling adjustment. If this is your first exhaust on the bike, start with the slip-on.
