Three parts, one setup

The case. Pick a top case in 26, 35, 45 or 55 liters, or a side case pair when you plan longer trips.
The base. A top case rides on a mounting plate bolted to the bike's original luggage rack. If your model needs its own rack, the luggage racks page lists them.
The match. The title names the make, model and years. Check all three before you order.

Most top case kits arrive with their plate, and plates are listed separately too, for riders who already own a case.

Our take: choose the size you will fill. The rating climbs with the case, from 7 kg on the 26 L to 10 kg on the 55 L, but a big case that rides half empty only adds width and weight behind the seat. Titanium top cases carry lower ratings than aluminum ones of the same size.

What is the difference between this page and Top and side cases?

This one adds the mounting plates and the soft backrests. The top and side cases page holds only the cases and kits.

Do I buy the plate separately from the case?

Usually not. Most top case kits include the plate made for your model. Buy a plate alone if you already own an Alpi-Tech case and need the base for another bike.

Does one plate carry every Alpi-Tech size?

No. Each plate names the sizes it carries, either one size or a span. Match that span to the case you own.

How many anchor points does a plate have?

Each plate has 4 anchor points and ships with its screws and spacers.

What if my bike has no luggage rack?

Open the luggage racks list and look for your model. If it isn't there, send us the details before you order a case.

Is the lining washable?

The case listings call the lining waterproof and washable, and you can take it out.

Will the side case holders take other cases?

The holders in a side case kit are made for your bike and come with the hardware to fit them. They are listed for GPR Tech side cases.
