Frequently asked questions about GPR Tech Top Cases

What is a GPR Tech top case?

A GPR Tech top case is a aluminum motorcycle luggage box that mounts to the rear of your bike on a model-specific plate. GPR makes them in Italy, in 26 L, 35 L, 45 L, 55 L capacities.

Which size top case should I buy?

Match the capacity to what you carry. A 26 L case takes one full-face helmet and a light jacket, which suits commuting. A 35 L case handles a helmet plus overnight kit, and it has the widest fitment coverage of the four. The 45 L and 55 L cases take two helmets or a week of luggage, and they suit adventure bikes with wide rear racks. Bigger cases sit higher and wider, so they shift more weight up and back. Buy the smallest one that fits your load.

Does GPR Tech make a titanium top case?

Yes, on the universal ALPI-TECH cases, in a natural titanium finish in 35 L and 55 L. Model-specific top cases are aluminum in black or silver. Titanium runs wider across the rest of the GPR Tech range: the skid plates are titanium, and the mounting plates and roof racks come in both aluminum and titanium.

Does the case come with the mounting plate?

Check the product listing before you order. GPR sells mounting plates as separate model-specific parts. The plate is what makes the case bolt to your exact bike, so you need both pieces. Send us your year, make, and model and we will confirm which plate matches your case.

Are GPR Tech cases waterproof?

GPR Tech builds these cases from aluminum with sealed lids and lockable latches, so they keep road spray and rain out. GPR does not publish an IP rating for the range. For sustained rain, bag anything that cannot get damp. Ask us about a specific model and we will tell you what we have on that fitment.

Will this fit my bike?

GPR Tech cuts these parts for specific models and year ranges. Pick your make from the pills above to see the models GPR covers. If your bike is not listed, contact us before you rule it out.

Do these clear a GPR exhaust?

Yes, on the models both product lines cover. GPR builds its luggage and its exhausts in the same factory, so the mounting hardware clears GPR silencers on shared fitments. If you run a GPR Furore Nero or another GPR system, send us both part numbers and we will confirm the clearance before you order.
